Hey there, Bruins!

Do you love to draw, and are you hoping to contribute to UCLA in a meaningful and exciting way?
Becoming an illustrator at the Daily Bruin may be the perfect opportunity for you!

My name is Juliette Le Saint, and I am the Illustrations Director at the Daily Bruin. I wanted to let you all know that applications for illustration interns are currently open! They will close at midnight on October 13.

The application is accessible right here. Check it out! We welcome undergraduate and graduate students from all majors and backgrounds, with or without previous journalistic experience. Feel free to use your application as an opportunity to let your personality and artistic vision shine!

As an illustration intern, you will learn the fundamentals of journalistic illustration while exploring concepts in digital and traditional art alongside a wonderful group of student illustrators. Illustrators at DB have the chance to consistently produce amazing illustrations featured in print and across social media.

In any case, have an amazing year! And, if you are curious about a different field, check out our other departments and their respective applications! The Daily Bruin provides great opportunities for students across all majors!
