Course Info: THE FOG OF ART
11 lessons on artistic relevance will be used to generate the student's awareness of their particular interests and direction in developing an artistic practice. The class will consist of lectures, screenings, readings, discussion, in class assignments and group crits etc.

Special Topic Course: CULTIVATING
Cultivating knowledge, participation, food in the age of monoculture. The course explores practical and critical processes for the hungry, lost and restless. Familiarize yourself with civic infrastructure, learn post-industrial survival skills. Discover urban foraging and alternative economies. Learn how to revitalize soil, filter water and ferment. Explore participatory democracy, relational aesthetics, dialogic art, collaboration. Develop vision, responsibility, connectedness, a sense of agency. Joy.
