| Special Topic Course: CULTIVATING Cultivating knowledge, participation, food in the age of monoculture. The course explores practical and critical processes for the hungry, lost and restless. Familiarize yourself with civic infrastructure, learn post-industrial survival skills. Discover urban foraging and alternative economies. Learn how to revitalize soil, filter water and ferment. Explore participatory democracy, relational aesthetics, dialogic art, collaboration. Develop vision, responsibility, connectedness, a sense of agency. Joy. |

| Documentary in Performance and Performance in Documentary The class will look at the relationships between the act of performance and the relationship to film and documentary. It will look at the nature of the personal and how that plays out within modes of performance as divergent from documentary and films. Projects may include making personal documentaries as acts of performance. |
