The Digital Studio is the primary digital workspace for the UCLA Department of Art, supporting the use of digital technology across media. The studio is composed of Macintosh workstations with high-speed Internet connections. A broad range of software is available, including video editing, photographic, 3d, sound, page layout and DVD authoring applications. A knowledgeable lab tech is available during open hours to answer questions, as well as a selection of manuals, tutorials and reference books. The Digital Studio regularly schedules workshops to provide a working foundation in various applications and looks to acquire new equipment to meet changing needs.
