The Digital Studio is the primary digital workspace for the UCLA Department of Art, supporting the use of digital technology across media. The studio is composed of Macintosh workstations with high-speed Internet connections. A broad range of software is available, including video editing, photographic, 3d, sound, page layout and DVD authoring applications. A knowledgeable lab tech is available during open hours to answer questions, as well as a selection of manuals, tutorials and reference books. The Digital Studio regularly schedules workshops to provide a working foundation in various applications and looks to acquire new equipment to meet changing needs.

The Digital Studio is open to Department of Art Students only.
Other students should check with their department to locate equivalent facilities.

Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 10 pm
Friday, 9:30 am to 5 pm
Saturday, noon to 5 pm

Closing at 5 pm on Wednesday November 25
Closed for Thanksgiving holiday from Thursday November 26 to Monday November 30

ALL FILES WILL BE DELETED AT NOON ON DECEMBER 9. THIS INCLUDES DIGITAL STUDIO COMPUTERS, EXTERNAL DRIVES, AND THE student_files DRIVE.
